Sam is a great man. I have many fond memories of him growing up on Townsend Street and visiting the store. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Lina Mazzarella
Sam was my second cousin and even though I had not seen him in over 30 yrs the memories of him will never fade. When he would come home on leave during the war he would take me to Suburban Park and take me for rides in the car. He dressed up like Santa once to surprise me on Christmas eve. When uncle Mike had the farm he would let me ride on the tractor with him when we picked apples. He used to take me with him to various slaughter hoses when he picked up sides of beef for the store. He was a wonderful kind generous man whom I will never forget. May God rest his soul.
