Sol was a welcome and friendly fixture in Franklin. I bought many a pair of lovely earrings from his store. He was one of the kindest gentlemen you could ever meet. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones left behind. Love and peace to you all.
Franklin in "the days" wouldn't have been as great as it was without the help of Sol. He was a mainstay in the town and helped us maintain a great quality of life in our little town. I have many fond memories of growing up in Franklin and Sol will always remain a part of those memories.
WE HAVE KNOWN SOL AND HIS FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS FROM HIS STORE AND THE MINERS.
HE WILL BE MISSED.
BILL AND JOAN ROMAINE FRANKLIN
I remember Sol from the Miners gamesMe and a couple of my friends went to Columbus Ohio for the championship game
which they one.
I had a couple of very good friends on the team,Dave Delea and Jan Caprino.
Rest in peaceSol.
When I needed a typewriter, my dad took me to Sol's. He introduced me to time-payments and talked to me about budgeting. I had that typewriter for many years and remember him well.
