Dear Ron and family,
I was shocked to find out about Stancie. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What a special person she was. She will stay in our hearts and her smile and presence will always visit us on layovers. Chris Mckay (ex. Siatras)
Dear Ron, Lucy, and Jack I am deeply sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Cyd Dillard, PanAm F/A 1970-1986.
Ron and family, you are in our prayers at this time of momentous loss. All who knew Stancie will miss her greatly. She was an incredibly special lady who could light up a room (or airplane cabin) with a simple smile. It of course seems a life cut short, yet what a life well lived! So full of love, adventure and accomplishment. Jane remembers her many flights with Stancie at Pan Am. She was, simply put, the epitome of what a flight attendant should be and a wonderful colleague to work with. Rick remembers flying with Stancie at Delta, once coming back from Paris in a 767, he had to shut down an engine mid-Atlantic and return to Shannon. She handled the situation and passengers with the grace and professionalism every pilot hopes to find when a situation like that occurs. We both feel blessed to have known her.
Saddened to hear that we have lost Stancie. She loved her family more than life, and that's saying quite a lot,as Stancie LOVED life. Having known her since we first started with Pan Am together in '73, I can say she brought sunshine to many. What a beautiful, bright girl Stancie was. I'm most sorry for your loss, Ron. And Jack & Lucy..I trust you know how much you were loved by your mother.
