Stanley Hursey

A year has gone, and I'm really missin' my running buddy! I know Stan is looking down on us, and keeping a close eye on my rodeo, crawfish boils and fishing tournaments, cause he's pushing me along every day. See ya in Heaven soon, my Friend.

Sissy, I am so sorry for your loss. I never met Stan, but he must have been a wonderful man, considering the smile he helped sculpt on your face. I started talking to Buddy online recently and I conducted a search for you, which brought me to Stan's obit. I will be praying for healing for you and all who loved Stan. Take care.

Jessie,
I knew and was friends with Stan and his family when he lived in Roseville, Ohio. What a wonderful individual. The world has lost a great person.

It was so heartwarming to see the so many people come to pay their respects and final "good-byes" to our brother Stan at last nights Memorial Service. Stan "the man" Hursey never changed from the legacy he started in central Ohio as he grew up. He only continued being himself and improved his ways of living and his respect for his fellow citizens. He was truly a "Treasure" and a gift to this planet earth. If you needed a leader, he would do it, if you needed a supporter or someone to get your back - he would do it. I have always known that Stan was just "there" and am just beginning to understand that it is no longer the case. His memory will live on forever in everyone's memory bank that knew him, weather it was before moving South and becoming a "cowboy" or as a "hayseed" from the North.
