May the God of all comfort be with you during this sad time.
BHarris - Atlanta, Georgia
Steve fought a brave and courageous battle. May your fond memories give you peace. I am keeping you and your family my prayers.
Nancy and family, please know that my heart goes out to you in this time of loss. I pray you will find peace, comfort, and strength in these tough times. Know that many here at work are thinking of you and praying for you. God Bless.
Having known Steve for 43 years, I think I can say with some authority that there has never been a finer a man to walk the face of this earth. No, he was not perfect - as none of us are; but he embodied that sweet spirit that comes only through Our Lord. Always ready to lend a helping hand...always a loving and nurturing son, husband, father, and grandfather...never failing to care for his family and friends.... His path was not smooth from Viet Nam through his more recent battles, but I never heard a"poor me" or a plea for help. He was made of all that is strong and good; and I was blessed to have known him and to have had him call me friend. I have known Nancy since she was born, and she is the sister of my heart. Steve soon became my brother, too. I was awed by his expertise. There was nothing he could not do - with machines or appliances or woodworking. He was so talented. And he loved his family so much. Nancy and Steve honored us by agreeing to be our our son's godparents; and we trusted them to take our most prized possession if something happened to us. Words do not adequately say what we feel for them, but I think they feel our love. Nancy, John, Roselyn, Payton and James ... he leaves you a precious heritage of strength, courage, dedication, and love. He is asleep in Jesus now; but one day, he will rise to be with Christ, and all who went before, in Glory. We look forward to reuniting with him then. He is not gone ... he is just away. We love you!
Nancy & Family, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
