Linda, I have many fond memories of your dad as he was one of my favourites from dad's (Frank Newton) friends. I had a lot of fun with Steve planting potatoes at the old farm and enjoyed the banter between him, dad and their other buddies. I remember your gardens with all your dad's pepper plants and how proud he was of them. When I think of him it puts a smile on my face. I enjoyed the photo gallery and recognize some of the same photos we have.
On behalf of the Newtons and our families, our thoughts are with you and your family.
Don't think of him as gone away, his journey's just begun life holds so many facets this earth is only one Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. Rest in Peace Dad..Grandpa
Our sincere sympathies to the whole family. We first met Steve when we moved to Norfolk Avenue in 1993, he was the first person to come over and welcome us to the neighbourhood, we could not have picked a better neighbour. May you rest in peace Steve and be rejoined with your beloved Mary.

To my cousin Steve. It was a pleasure meeting you 20 years ago and have shared many pleasant conversations over time. May you rest in peace.
Linda, Shaun, Jessica, my love and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Father, husband, grandpa, friend, his joy, laughter, and life's stories were just some of the treasures he shared. May eternal rest and peace be with you Steve and Mary, together again.
