To Shannon and the Appel family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes He watched you, and saw you pass away. Although your family loved you dearly, you could not stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
With all of our love and respect, Preacher
What moves through us is a silence, a solemn spirit, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day with him, one more word of advice from him, one more touch of his hand. We may not understand why he left this earth so soon, or why he left before you were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, you will begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived and loved the life he lived, and that his precious life gave you and your family memories too beautiful to forget. You will see him again, happier than ever. That HE promises.

My condolences to the Appel Family.
Steve will be missed by many.
May the wonderful memories he left behind bring some comfort at this very difficult time. And may the peace of God thru prayer, guard your hearts and thoughts to help you all cope with the loss. Phil 4:6,7
