She was one of the most gracious people I've ever met. My first memory of Sue is shortly after she and Paul became engaged. They were standing side by side in our kitchen at 87 Clinton St., smitten with one another, as my mother commented on what a beautiful couple they made. I loved her like a sister and she loved us all back. I always felt blessed being around Sue. She was a champion of everyone and asked for so little. Her illumination uplifted everyone and the world, and will continue to forever in all of us. I will miss you terribly my dear. Just know how infinitely you are loved. Hugs and kisses, Lisa
I still have the journal of poems that I wrote when I was in her class, with all of her warm, kind comments and the English award she gave me. She was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration.
Susan was probably one of the kindest people I have ever known. From the very moment I met her, I felt as though I'd known her forever. To Paul and his girls, my sincerest sympathy. Fly with the angels, dear Sue, and sleep in light.
