"...I hope all of you can always keep faith alive, hope close, and the notions of miracles near because as a mother, wife, teacher and friend, she truly was a living miracle."

I love you mommy forever and a day. Keep making those angels jealous and I cannot wait to see you again.

I was blessed to have Sue as my best friend as we grew up in Lewiston, NY. She had such genuine way of supporting everyone around her and making you feel very special when life was challenging. As adults Sue and I reconnected a few years ago and I was amazed to witness that she still had that same magic of focusing in on you and making you feel extraordinary. The courage and will to live that she demonstrated in these last few years was incredible. The world is is better place because Sue lived in it and those of us priviileged to know her have lost our shining star. My most sincere condolences to Paul, Gabe, Gretchen and her Mom, Phyllis.

Although I have only known Sue for a few years, I have come to realize that she was a very special woman, with a warm heart and a special kindness not often found in people...I feel that the world was a better place with Sue in it and she will be dearly missed by the many lucky people whose lives she touched! God bless Paul & daughters; May your dear wife & Mom rest in peace and watch over you all!

I am so thankful to have this opportunity to say "Thank you" to God for the gift that Sue Allidi was in my life when I was a young teen at Zogg Middle School during the mid 70's. A group of us girls watched her transition to life in Central Upstate NY, watched her romance with our Math teacher Mr. Allidi, experienced first hand her caring concern for us and her love of literature. To this day, I credit Sue Allidi with challenging me with a love for reading as we waded through Great Expectations (as we came in with no expectations!) Over the years I have remembered Mrs. Allidi's openness, her warmth and her genuine hospitality. I'm sure that she leaves behind a great legacy in her girls (Gretchen and Gabe) and Mr. Allidi as well as all of us students of generations past! The three of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of grief and celebration of her very precious life.

Barb, Janet and I were lucky enough to be in Miss Fyfe's first class at Zogg. She was more like a girlfriend than a teacher and we were so fond of her. I'll never forget sitting in Mr. Allidi's math class that year when he would get distracted looking out the classroom door, watching Miss Fyfe walk down the hallway. We were all so thrilled when they got married! We kept in touch with Mrs. Allidi, long after we left middle school, and I even remember going to visit her after the birth of her oldest daughter. She was such a sweet, wonderful person who definitely touched our lives. My thoughts go out to Mr. Allidi and their family. I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a lovely woman. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
