Mike,

I am so sorry to hear of yours and your family's loss. What a kind person Sue was. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My Suzie...we were friends since before Kindergarten. We grew up on the same street, went to the same grade school and high school. When I moved back to Louisville, we rekindled a friendship that had always been there. She was always there: to listen, to laugh and cry with, dinner and movies, just sitting and talking. Times spent with her, no matter what we did, lifted me up. I love her dearly and will always miss her sweet smile....

To Ken and all Susie's family members, I am more than saddened by Susie's death. I will always remember playing with her when we were children because your family members were our Sterling Road neighbors. (My parents were Sonny and Evelyn Gray.) I have been a guest in Susie's lovely home during the last few years; she was the perfect hostess! I also will remember her always smiling face when I would see her at the makeup counter, where we would catch up. I do not want to think of a world without Susie Conliffe Dant. My condolences to your family. My only comfort is that she is now experiencing the peace of the Lord.
Peace and blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn Gray Anderson

There are a few very special friends in my life and one of them is Susie. We became friends in grade school and remained so throughout high school. Our lives took us in and out of proximity and communication throughout the years that followed, but we touched base when we could. We found each other again when I moved back to Louisville in 2000. For the last 14 years, we have been special friends, rocks, dinner companions, and confidants. I will miss her for what she brought to my life and to those around her. I know when the girls get together, she will always be there with us. We will always remember the times, the outfits, the bangles, and the laughs. She was more than special.
