Best friends are people you know you don't need to talk to every single day. You don't even need to talk to each other for years; but when you do, its like you never stopped talking. You will be missed. Jeannie

Over the past 20+ years I considered Terry's friendship a gift and a blessing. Working with Terry, I recognized he had a gift for thinking outside the box and empowering other team members to do the same. There was no limit to what goals could be accomplished with Terry on your team. Terry left an indelible memory of happiness, caring and thoughtfullness with all those who knew him.

Terry was one of the kindest, most understanding, and most helpful colleagues at State Tech. May God have mercy on him and bless his family.

Terry was one of my very closest Cousins since we were only 2 months apart in age. Close enough to become "Best Man" at Mary and my wedding in 1975. Even though we lived in different states, we always saw each other in Waverly during the summer. We camped, rode the scooter, went swimming in Blue Creek, tried to ride our Grandmothers cow, worked for Uncle Dan'l for a lot less than minimum wage, and got into a lot of innocent mischief.
Most people do not know that Terry was a genuine Army hero, being awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart in Vietnam after volunteering for a mission that cost him his arm. The others on the mission were killed.
I never saw Terry have a down day. He brightened everyone's life when he was around.
I am going to miss him terribly and will think of him fondly forever.
