Thomas A. Dutch 1925 - 2012
Sunday, December 09, 2012
Dear Mrs Dutch and family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.I think each of us continue to cherish the fond memories of Tom always smiling and always patient and always prepared for the countless various challenges that only caddies were capable of presenting to him thruout his long tenure. I will always be grateful for his guidance and assistance in helping shape my future endeavors.
In 1970 my admission to the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine was in a large part due to your husband and father's involvement. Were it not for his support my future would have had a much different outcome.
Many thanks for allowing him time to spend many hours with us. He was an extremely gifted individual whose mission in life seemed to be one of service to his family, his faith, and his fellow men and women.
He was uniquely equipped to be our advisor for he had the patience, understanding, and foresight to somehow look beyond our immature behavior. I never heard a discouraging word from his lips.I hope that we enriched his life as much as he enriched ours. Thanks for sharing him with his Evans Scholars family.
