I was sorry to hear of Mr. Bentley's passing. I have known him all my life. My father(J B Warren) and Mr. Bentley were very good friends. They both had connections with Hanna Bat Company. My father was the accountant there. My father passed away 30 years ago. Mr. Bentley was more like a father to me than a lawyer. I loved him like a father. I talked to him about a month ago to tell him of my brother's passing (Steve Warren). He has known both of us since we were kids. Mr. Bentley was a great man and will be missed by me and many other people.
I am very sorry to learn of Mr. Bentley's passing. I remember him fondly as a long-standing friend of my family and next-door neighbor for many years. Deepest condolences from the Chaffin family to Ellen, Mason, John (and your families), and to all who loved him.
Mr. Bentley was indeed one of a kind. His smile, his laughter were all infectious to those who knew him. I will be forever grateful for the time I had him in my life.
