Virginia Barnes Mathews

Friday, January 04, 2013
To my Aunt Virginia who I shared a wonderful life with. The laughter, joy, fun, and sadness. She and Sissy Cope made the best playhouses for Louise and myself and traded with us because made and looked better. We laughed at everything and Grandma Barnes could not get us to sleep (we all slept in 1 bed). Same goes for mealtime-laughter got to Grandpa Barnes. I missed the times we shared when memory began to fade-but it was still VIRGINIA. She loved all of her neices/nephews(great and great-great)with the same and equal love. She was our AUNT VEE to all the family.

My sincere condolences to Trudy and her family. I was honored to know Virginia and always enjoyed visiting with her. May she rest in peace.

What a happy little lady. Such great memories of childhood fun. We will miss her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Now she is dancing around the thrown. Love you Trudy and family..
