Growing up in Kennesaw we didnt call him Ed, he was always Eddie. We were friends growing up and later would be brother in laws. He was married to Peggy Campbell and I am married to Shirley Campbell.
As boys we played a lot of baseball in what we called the Tennis Court League. This was long before Little League and Eddie was one of thesuper stars in our league. He could throw a mean knuckle ball and was a really good hitter We played our games on the site where the Kennesaw City Hall now stands.
When Eddie and Peggy retired from the Air Force and moved back to Cobb County Shirley and I enjoyed eating out with them just about every Friday night and would join them again for breakfast on Saturday morning usually at the Cracker Barrel in Kennesaw.
Eddie Adams was close friend for many years. I will miss him. Pam, Mike, Marisa and Aissa, and Eddies grandchildren you are in my prayers

I will always have fond memories of Ed. I first met him in 1978 when I was a teenager, and I always had the greatest respect for him and his late wife Peggy. My prayers go out to his son Mike, and his two daughters Aissa and Marisa.
