Warren Glen Anderson

June 16, 2014
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Anderson. I did not know him that long but WOW what a wonderful man. I worked at Benedictine Living Center and had the pleasure to see him on a daily basis. I loved talking to him about sports and listening to his child hood stories. I will tell you that I could come in on Monday and he would not make fun of my Chicago Bears. What a privilege to have known him for such a short time. My prayers and thoughts to all of Warrens Family. Much Love Mary Dubek

What a great guy Mr. Anderson was! I grew up in Niagara. A few years ago, my mom, brother and I visited with him and Fern in Spooner, where he regaled us with stories of his time in the Navy, many years in Niagara, his favorite sports teams, and much more. What a memory!
They didn't know each other before the War, but my father and Mr. Anderson were on Guam at the same time, Dad as a Navy cook, and Mr. Anderson as a mail clerk. When Dad moved to Niagara in 1946, he and Mr. Anderson crossed paths again. Dad recognized him as one of the men he used to run out of his chow line. Mr. Anderson had often tried to sneak into Dad's mess tent, knowing he could get a better meal there than in the one where he was assigned.
I, too, mourn the passing of a fine man, and express my sincere sympathy to Fern and the rest of the family.

Family of Warren Anderson.
My husband and I are sorry to hear about Warrens passing. We both worked with him at the Niagara Mill and my husband grew up in Niagara, knowing Warren his whole life. He talked often about all his children and about Spooner. Our sympathy to you all. Sally and Terry (Shine) Champeau

I am also sorry to read about his passing. After my father suffered a stroke and was unable to drive Warren was always there to take him to ball games and help him out. I will not forget his kindness during that difficult time.
