Wilford "Will" T. Morgan 1920 - 2013

Wilford "Will" T. Morgan

I first want everyone to know what a remarkable job my Brother-in-law Stan did actually for several years after battling cancer dedicated a large amount of his life taking care of Will and also my sister for her receiving all the confusing phone calls Dad made in the middle of the night and admittingly my small help every once in awhile, and also my girlfriend Christy who used nursing skills to comfort him, we certainly are going to miss that while on the other hand he is in such a better place and at peace. All these acts of giving by everyone were definitely noticed and will not be forgotten. I end by saying thanks Dad for being the kind and gentle soul you are and were, Love Randy your son.

Will was a soft-spoken & gentle man. He could talk non-stop for hours, as I learned on a trip to NYC. Will didn't take a breather until we flew over Manhattan, the view simply took his breath away. He taught me the words to "Mairzy Doats," a popular song in 1943, Will sang it on the plane and got strange looks. But it was okay with me. Fond memories of Will in the big city. God bless him & keep him.

We look forward to the day when we'll see you again, Uncle Will! You're likely enjoying a great game of tennis. We love you very much.

Will was a tremendous blessing to myself and several other young lads while he was the tennis pro at Columbia Lakes during the 1980s. He was a dear friend to all of us and a true member of "the gang." Although we were 50 years younger, he was a true competitor on the court and an inspiration to all of us. He attended several weddings of ours and we truly enjoyed having him present at special occasions.
He will be truly missed by all.
