Dear Griselds, Billy, Mona and Patty.
Mostly because of our ages and health issues, we are unable to see you at this sad time. We will miss Cub and will be with you in our thoughts and prayers, particularly at the time of the service tomorrow and in the times following.

Bill was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He always had a kind word and a joke to tell. His beloved Wolfpack were always the subject when we got together. He always said "ole Bobby Bowden beat his boys too often".
Bill was a REAL Rough Rider. Bully Bully!

God bless you kind Sir!

Bill never met a stranger. He was quick with a hello and a handshake. He had no patience for fools, but his friends meant almost as much to him as his family. We went to countless football games with his brother John and his nephew John. We travelled from Manhattan to Key West. We paraded together with the Rough Riders, and served together in the Brandon Rotary. He was an Honorary Colonel in the Krewe of Fort Brooke and a Kentucky Colonel two or three times. We partied and we laughed for the last thirty years. God Bless Bill, Big Bird, Adams -Todd Bray
