William "Bill" Henry Allmen Jr.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! A former neighbor. Dottie
I was blessed to be a classmate of Bill's for our 4 years at Concordia, Seward, Nebraska. He was a great guy then and remained so. Bill was a gift from God to his family and all who came into contact with him. We thank God for Bill and his life of love and service.

Bill was my favorite teacher in high school so many years ago in New York. We also played church league basketball together for a couple of years. He was a SUPER guy and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Mr, Allmen was a great math teacher, I had him for both calculus and computer science my senior year. I was working full time at night and Mr. Allmen picked up that my first period calc class was really hard for me (the only calc class at Buena that year was first period) and he reached out and asked me why I so "on fire" for computer science but "dog-tired" in math. I told him I was working at night and he would let me come in during my work experience to work on Calculus with the other brianiac kids. (ha, ha).. My love of math and the kick I got out of computers IN HIS CLASS helped lead me into my career. I worked at Microsoft for almost 20 years and still continue to work in IT today. I wouldn't have that "on-fire" desire I had for computers and software if it wasn't for Mr. Allmen. God now has a great math teacher on his team in heaven!!! - Kathy Elskamp (Kathy Massa - Graduate 1981)
Bill was a gifted teacher and mentor. He was the best math teacher and was always encouraging his students. I was lucky enough to have him for geometry and computer science while I was at Buena and had the good fortune to be have him as a colleague after I graduated from college.
Bill will be greatly missed.
