William Marion Hammond PHD
I am sorry we were out of town when Bill passed. I often think fondly about the years Bill and I worked together. Through his work in the Technology Center at Bradley, he had a significant impact on many companies and their employees.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Bill will be missed.
Dr. Hammond was one of my favorite professors. He was very patient and excellent at explaining. Having him as a project professor was something that I enjoyed. He and his colleagues prepared me well and I always appreciated them. I am so glad to hear of Dr. Hammond's faith as it is that which sustains us in this life and prepares us for next. May God comfort each of you.
I am so sorry I will be unable to be with you for the visitation or the funeral. I have become quite unsteady on my feet. I have been advised
to not try since the weather is so bad. I want to wish you peace and comfort
at this difficult time. Your tears are precious, in time they'll wash your heart
of all but the memories and your love for Bill.
They are blessed who grieve, for God will comfort them,
Mathew 5:4 NCV
Nan, our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family in the loss of Bill.
You and Bill were great companions for Jan and I and we cherish our memories and friendship. We fondly remember the times we spent in several of your time share vacation homes.
Bill was a vital part of our "Gentleman's Group" over the last 10+ years and we always appreciated his insight on the stock market, grand children, life and you name it. Bill had sage thoughts on just about everything.
We will miss Bill.
