Sorry to hear the news. Another soldier(Pathfinder) resting waiting to hear the call of the Master Guide of Master Guides Jesus Christ the Life Giver. Bro. Rupert legacy of ministry to youth will live on in all the lives he touch especially mine. I will never forget the lessons he taught commitment to servicing Jesus. Sis. Rupert I pray God will comforter you and family during this difficulty time. May God bless and keep you in Jesus name.
He was a man of God who spoke few words but his actions did the talking for him. Shirley, may God bless and keep you during this time of sadness and grief. I was privileged to know both of you.
Condolences to the family, he was a good man and friend.
Bro. Rupert was the father of my first and dearest friend at Southside, Donna Rupert. I saw him as a quiet person but with a cool and down to earth personality. I always admired him as “Donna's father” and loved spending the night over their home and playing on their ranch. As a young teenager, I look back at the many pathfinder trips I went on under Bro. Rupert's leadership and how much fun I always had every year. I respected his service to the church as deacon but also noticed him take on an even quieter personality after Donna's passing and after acquiring his illness. No matter what, he always remembered me when I spoke to him and I loved to reminisce about the good days at his house which always brought a smile to his face. I saw Bro. Rupert as one of the respected pillars in our church who dedicated his life to his faith and family and now he is resting in peace. I have always had a deep respect for the Rupert family and always will and I now ask God to be with them all during this difficult time. The Robinson-Montalvo-Stowe families love all of you and will keep you in prayer!
Shirley, We are so sad. You know we loved both of you. You were our Hero's in Pathfinders. We will miss Willie.
