for George Paraschos

Not sure what to say?

Just finding myself thinking of George and all the little things I learned along the way that I'll implement and use the rest of my life. Heck, I just taught my dad to add cold water to egg mix to make them extra fluffy when cooked:) it's always the little things and over the course of 8 hrs...there were a LOT of wonderful "little things"! Thank you George! " I will always love you".

Many Prayers go out to your family during this difficult time. Members of your family will always be remembered when I think of my early years on Ninth Street. It takes a village to raise a child..... and your family did just that. From afternoon snacks, playing the piano, or just watching us play kickball in the middle of the street (keeping track of who was out) Thanks to the entire family for many memorable years, it will never be forgotton. RIP, George...... Lisa Turner-Prince (906 E. Ninth St)

To the Paraschos Family, I share your sorrow on the passing of Mr.Paraschos. Many years ago as a high school student, I dated George's brother Eli for one year. Eli always spoke so kindly of all his Brother's and Sister's, and was so very proud of their Greek Heritage. May the Angels welcome you to Paradise, May the Martyrs greet you on your way. May you see the Holy face of Almighty God, as you try out your new angel wings today. RIP Mr. Paraschos

Our condolence's to the Paraschos family. Sandra and I have known George for many years as I went to high school with George. What a sweet man. I'm grateful that I had breakfast with him this past January. It is just so sad. We also had the good luck to know his wife of many years Judy. He will be missed by many. Words really cannot express how one felt about George.

So sad to learn of George's passing. He and I were Jr. & High Schoolmates, and lately golf buddies. George and I only met up again in 2009 after all those years of school. George's joyful, friendly presence was always admired by us, a true, loved friend. Fare well George. Rest in peace.

I really wish I were home today. Mom called me last night as I'm away with The Eli Foundations Children's Hospital/Speaking tour in FL. The only thing Kayler and I can think of is that Eli & George are finally together again. I tried to add a picture..HOpe I did it correctly. We love you Paraschos family and you will be in our thoughts and prayers for many days to come. I especially want to let Julia know my mom and sister will be there to give her a hug for us. Life has changed in so many ways, some wonderful and some make it hard to breath. But, one thing I cherish is my continued friendship and the good memories of the 8yrs "our George" was in the our lives. We shared many moments of grief together early on after his beautiful wife went to be with the Lord and then after Eli did the same in 2007. I just spoke to him three weeks ago after the 10th yr. celebration of a special day in my life that he was such a big part of. So much to say, and so many feelings right now. But, I must get to Jacksonville to meet with a new patient (8yr old Devin). May the Lord bless you and keep you Paraschos family. Much love, forgiveness and healing coming your way!
