LOREN STANSKI Obituary

LOREN S. STANSKI, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Parkview Hospital. He was a member of the Army Reserves. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2002, after 38 years of service. He was a member of the AARP, Parkview Seniors Club, TPA and Spiece Fitness Center. "Loren is singing in the Heavenly Choir." Surviving are wife of 46 years, Barbara; daughters, Kristy Stanski, Kara (Tim) Guiff and Korri (Brian) Butler; grandsons, Jarrett, Caleb and Mason; sister, Loree Clevenger; and aunt, Irene Gordon. He was preceded in death by is parents, Stanley and Wanda Stanski. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Highland Park Cemetery Chapel, 2403 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Grant County Special Olympics or Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Loren was a regular at Spiece Fitness. He enjoyed the pool and walking but my fondest memories are of him every month at our Euchre games! Always smiling and joking with us... He will be greatly missed!

All are going to miss Him, everytime I think of Loren I can always see him having a ball playing cards with friends and family.
But praise God he is heaven singing praises with the angels
