I was privileged to know Russ when I ran the Kentwood Public School's bus operation in the mid 1970's - and I ran into him a few times over the years since. He was, as I knew him, a role model, and just a very nice person to boot. My prayers go out to his family.

I Met Russ and his family in the 1970's when his boys and my son competed in the local Soap Box Derby. Iremember a gentleman who was friendly and willing to pitch in and help.
