Bobby Lee "Bob Bob" Cox, 66, of 9-A Pinecroft Drive, died October 11, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Greer, he was a son of the late Thomas Woodrow and Artie Lee Stokes Cox, retired owner/operator of Bobby Cox Electric, a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member and a former deacon of Milford Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle Bowers Cox of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian Shawn and Dawn Cox of Taylors; a daughter, Shawana Sturgeon of Greer; a brother, Thomas Woodrow Cox II of Buford, GA; a sister, Judy Crooks of Starr; two grandchildren, Steven Lee Cox and Andy Moore; brothers-in-law, Ricky Bowers and his wife, Jill and Mack Murray and his wife, Lisa all of Taylors and a sister-in-law, Shelby Jean Miller of Greenville.
He was predeceased also by a brother, Allen Cox and a brother-in-law, Gary Miller.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Milford Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Herschel Crain and Rev. Keith Crowe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Honorary escort will be the deacons on Milford Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Milford Baptist Church Bus Fund, 1282 Milford Church Road, Greer, SC 29651.
