Dear Fred & Family,
Sorry to hear of your loss. Your wife/mother was a wonderful woman, she had a gift of making people feel special. She also gave my wife Ann Marie support and encouragement during her battle with Leukemia. I am sure she will be missed by many. Take care and comfort in knowing that she is no longer in any pain. God Bless!

Liz;
Your memory is my keepsake
with which I'll never part,
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.
I will miss you very much. Now I am a "support group" of one, but your laugh and brave spirit are with me. I am grateful for the support, fun and laughter that we shared.

Dear Fred and Heather:
I went to grade, middle, high school with Liz, I always loved hearing about her horses. Although our lives changed as we got older and did not see each other often, everytime I saw her at Shagbark she always was happy to see me and "catch up". I was very fond of her mom (Mrs. French) growning up as she was my bus driver. I know that Liz and her parents are now together maybe riding horses or "catching up" with each other. May she be at peace and comfort now, and she will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Liz was a very sweet and kind friend.

Fred, Heather, and the rest of Liz's family:
My thoughts are with you.
They say that memories help us heal,
But I don’t think it’s true
For every time I think of you
My heart just breaks in two
Remembering the time that you
Did that
Or the time that you did this
Creates an emptiness
In my chest
As deep as any abyss
I cry and cry thinking
That I will never stop
And then at last, I realize,
I’ve cried the final drop
I heave a sigh, but know inside
That it will happen again.
A part of me is lost forever,
I love you so much, my friend.
I also feel a great relief
That I welcome at any time
I guess this is how our memories heal
By making us long and pine
It leaves more room in our hearts
To fill with memories new
But I know no matter how many I gather
There’s always room for you.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Fred, I am so sorry to read about Liz this morning online. Your probably don't know me by name. I brought my nephew in to get a job this summer. I met you and Liz at Haddam Pizza and had several conversations with Liz there, and around town. She certainly was a great person. She was easy to talk to, and always treated my as if she had know me for years. I will say a prayer for you and your daughter today. I won't pretend to have anything enlightening to say. Simply, I am sure part of her thoughts and kindness will continue to be here through you and your daughter's expressions of her. I will also be thinking of her throughout the day. Since moving here eight years ago, I have had many occasions to feel unwanted as an outsider. Liz was one of the few people who made me feel this was my home. Sad day that can only be brightened by her remembrance. Again, I am so sorry for you and your daughter Fred. What a loss.I wish ou strength in this difficult time.

Liz;
Let peace surround you. Wishing you had come on those trail rides that us girls always tried to encourage you to take with us. Hopefully you are now able to enjoy riding in heaven, free of all that kept you from enjoying that section of your life. You are an amazing woman, one that many of us simply were humbled by. We will miss your smile and gentle laugh. God Bless.
