I first met Matt at Sebring where he took time to discuss and show me his Orange 934. Friendly, smiling, happy, warm while enjoying and sharing his passion is how I remember him. He will be missed by many. My heartfelt sympathy to his family and loved ones.

Having just learned of Matthew's passing, I am shocked.

A#1 he was - nothing but the finest quality! Therefore, I know he's racing the A#1's in Heaven, and grinning every second!

Shana and Family,
I met Matt briefly at the Porsche Parade Heritage Display in Charlotte a few years ago. He was very kind to me and my Grandson as we looked at some of his Porsche's that he brought to share with the Porsche Club of America. He spent time with us sharing some wonderful stories about his cars. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dearest Shana,
At times like this we feel so alone, hurt, angry, confused , helpless. The innocence and grief of our children make it so much more difficult to deal with. As hard as it may be, wrap your arms around them and comfort them with the love of your husband.
I hurt for you: for your loss. You will hear from a lot of people, and life for some of them will go on the same but your life and your children's have changed forever. All I can say is that in the midnight hour, in those lonely desperate times whisper the name of Jesus---He is the only one that will never leave you and is able to comfort you beyond words friend. You and I have never met, but I was a very good friend of Matt's growing up. Myself, Matt, and Jason Wright used to have sleepovers all the time and I thought so highly of Frank, Pinky, and Matt. Frank,I was surprised and deeply saddened to hear of the lose of Matt.I have very fond memories of Matt as a teenager traveling with us on the Lotusport team. He was a great young man. My brother and his family recently moved to Hickory and met Matt and Shana by chance at a Holloween party, I offten said to my brother that I wanted to come visit with him and see you and Matt, I wish I had followed through.I'm truly sorry for your lose Frank, My thoughts are with you.
