Conway Hall Obituary

CONWAY PATRICK HALL, born on Dec. 30th 1958, left this world to be with his family in Heaven on July 5th 2006, after a very brief illness. Conway was a lifelong resident of Houston. He graduated from Sharpstown Sr. High in 1976. Conway was an avid skydiver. His passion was to soar in flight like an eagle. He was an active member of several record setting "Big Way" groups and has received recognition and awards for his jumping abilities and endeavors. Conway's business life consisted of participation in a family business serving as Vice President and General Manager of Hall Equipment and Supply Company. He will be missed by all who had dealings with him. Conway was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Hall. He leaves behind a host of family and friends including father, Conway G. Hall, and wife Ann, brother Craig and wife Peggy, sisters Dinah and Tracy and husband Dave. Also left behind are nieces Brandi Zamora, Amber Hall, Patricia Desch and nephews Jacob Hilton, Craig and Shane Hall and Wesley Desch. A memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday July 7, 2006 at St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 7200 Bellaire Blvd. in Houston, with Rev. Dr. Kevin Boyd officiating. In lieu of flowers, those memorials in Conway's name may be directed to the church.

CP used to drive me crazy with his carefree attitude but the minute he realized I was frustrated he will do just about anything to make it up to me. From going to Starbucks to get me a so much needed late to driving at midnight to kinko's to get my presentation ready for school. When I graduated and and finally got my bachelor degree diploma he told me " I am so proud of us since a corner of that diploma is mine" I had to laugh at that because he was right! I can still hear him say "Chiquilla you say you not going to stress about school but you know that is not true you are going to stress and drive nut trying to keep you happy". Conway you brought light into my life and you will hold a place in my heart. Rest in chiquillo. SUSAN Rivera

I am deeply sorry for the entire Hall families loss. C.P sees all of you in his translucent, timeless journey into a peaceful place.

Since 1985, you have been so very special always confusing me with your uniqueness.

I've seen you "WIG OUT" every summer during the busy season. And the question was always," Are you wigging out yet?" You'd say I'm busy, I gotta go. I always knew to stay out of your way May through August. Summer is the time of year when you are especially remembered by me. And I hope you are smiling, looking down to see the chaos at work without you around. I hope your family will laugh at the ridiculous chaotic mess without you clearing one haphazard after another.

I'm guessing the company profits might actually go up without me stopping up the phone lines making a complete nuisance of myself.

I'm holding some of the most special times filled with love in my heart. There are so few people in my life that I've come so close too.

I can't express my sorrow and grief enough. I hope the grief will turn to smiles in years to come. I love you more than words can express.

Conway-

I miss you...

I miss your phone calls to see if I'm on my way to the dz.

I miss your calls to find out why I didn't come out to the dz.

I miss your organized skydives.

I miss your laughing, teasing and joking at the dz.

I miss our dinners after a weekend of skydiving.

I miss YOU...

My sympathy to Connie's family & many friends

CP we had many conversations about family and friends. The respect you had for your father. My desire to jump out of a perfectly good plane. As with most things in Texas you topped my desire in a big way Proud to have been your friend.

Dear Conway,

Oh, this is hard. I would really love to wake up and find out this was only a dream.

Thank you for the LOVE!

Thank you for challenging me to advance in my sport, especially flying my parachute!,

To go skiing again,

To live, love and laugh in the moment!

Thank you for that blue-eyed, dimpled grin.

I know you're free now - truly free of all the earthly bondage - and will be encouraging us, watching out for us, (and advising us I'm sure!), from on high now.

I love you.

I remember CP’s fascination with cardinals. Each year a lovely pair of cardinals would take up residence at the company. He would become almost childlike watching them. It was nice to see him happy. A good person who will be missed.

July 6, 2006

I guess I met C.P. when he was about 10 or 11 years old. My former husband (Rick Litzman) was employed at Hall Sprinkler in the spring of 1969, I believe. Even though I did not become acquainted with C.P. as an adult I just wanted the family to know that I will keep you all in my prayers and that I think of the Hall family often, as I visit Houston every 6 or 8 weeks. Connie, I did not realize that Pat had passed on but hope that you are doing well. Maybe one of these days I will stop by for a brief hello. Until then I will hold you & your family up in prayer.

Tom Olson

July 6, 2006

When escaping your earthly bounds, you will no longer need the services of a parachute for those who enter heaven have wings. Its a path we can all envy from a distance until it is our time to join in on that jump with you.

Until that time comes to each of us, we will celebrate you and think about you every time we jump because you will be missed here falling to earth with us. It was a pleasure knowing you and it will be a pleasure to meet you again someday when I and many others take that same path.

Blue Skies Conway.

We shared a bond that few people on earth can ever know – we flew the skies together. I will not regret that your time on this earth was short, for I know that you lived more in each of your jumps than most people live in a lifetime. Your spirit and your soul exalted with every experience. And now, your spirit will live on in everyone who shared that with you and your soul will continue to soar in the Texas sky.
