Huris Simien, Jr. entered into eternal rest on April 17. Services Wed. April 27 at Ellis Memorial COGIC, 412 Massachusetts. Visitation, 6-7 p.m., funeral begins at 7. Burial, Thurs., April 28 at 11 a.m. Houston Memorial Gardens.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family.Huris has been my friend for the last 15 years. I was his barber.So we talked a lot.I know for a fact that he was saved and he will be truly missed.

My deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and all affected by the loss of Huris. He was a classmate of mine at Forest Brook HS. This is so very sad, as we just recently lost Kenneth Roberson. God's ways are not our ways, so there is much we do not understand. This is HIS will, so we must trust and pray. Be comforted by the memories of his life, and God keep all of you during this difficult time and in the days to come.
