dear ivan,
i already know,..youre just a little busy...but i have to tell you:
thankyou for waiting for me to come tell you i loved you and goodby...my daughter sarah told me you told her you would try and wait there for me until friday...and you did!...like you always have for the past 21 years!
my sorrow i know is a selfish kind of sorrow. im so happy you are at peace..but gosh darn it, i just wasnt ready to let you go...didnt want to ever say goodbye...
you took all of my best secrets with you! the time you caught my hair on fire!..the prank phonecalls we made until i laughed so hard i couldnt breathe...
its been 21 years since you came to my house for dinner with garry grapp, heald my 2 month old daughter and decided she was your own adopted daughter...im so happy you were with us 2 summers ago to hold her son!...thankyou for being there for me through out my sons "trip to sing sing" as you put it...and being there for us when he came home...
thankyou for always respecting sarah for who she is...
kiss and cuddle my granddaughter maraiah who was taken before we knew her..as you promised me you would...
gosh..i had no idea our time was so short...you helped me start to believe you were going to stick around. we had so many more plans...
time will never heal...it will only be a constant reminder of how long youve been away...i will miss you forever...when my time comes, i will have peace in knowing i can come and find you,,,even if you are still...just a little busy...

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF SUCH SAD NEWS. I MET IVAN WAY BACK AROUND 45 YEARS AGO. WE WERE BORN ON THE SAME DAY AND YEAR BUT I WAS BORN IN RUPERT. I MET HIM THROUGH BARBARA BRYAN AND TIM FRIEDERICH. I LAST SAW IVAN 3 DAYS BEFORE TIM DIED AND THEN AGAIN AFTER TIMS DEATH. WE HAD SOME GOOD TALKS OF THE OLD DAYS . I HAD THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON HIM WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER. I'M SORRY I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE WAS ILL. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS WILL BE WITH HIM AND HIS FAMILY. LETS ALL KEEP THE MEMORIES GOING.... DEBERA GLENN-FRIEDERICH-ROBINETTE

I met Ivan in 1986. We shared many good times together. When I saw Ivan at the end of May, he stated he was "tired of being poked and proded, and tired of being sick". He was on his way fishing! Ivan, I hope you catch the big fish up there! RIP I will love and miss you always.

John and I have known Ivan forever. He was our other son..when I would call him, I'd say this is your mother calling. He did consider us as his other parents. He never missed a Miller Pig Roast! He loved that pig. Ivan loved to fish at Anderson or down out of Burley. Ivan you will truely be missed!

I remember ice skating with Ivan in Burley at Paulson's Rink when we were in the 7th grade. My condolences go out to your family at this time. I wish he had been able to make it to our class reunion next month...we will miss him. Vicky Barkdull Davis
