Joseph "Joe" TuckerJoseph "Joe" Tucker, 79, of Bluffton, SC, beloved husband of the late Maureen Delea Tucker, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. A Korean War Veteran, Joe served in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines and was educated at Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY. Joe was the loving father of two sons, Gregory (Susan) Tucker of Las Vegas, NV, and Wayne (Sharon) Tucker of Sparkhill, NY, and three daughters, Sharon (Hank) Miller of New Rochelle, NY, Keryn Tucker (Keith Borgeson) of Chicago, IL and Megan (Sebastian) Hauer of Chicago, IL; cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren, Lauren, Eileen, Brett, Matthew, Alex, Sophie, and Lucie; proud great-grandfather of Addison; devoted brother of Harriet (Walter) Johnsen and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial masses will be celebrated in Highland Park, IL and Bluffton, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Evanston Hospital, Northshore University Health System Foundation, 1033 University Place, Suite 450, Evanston, IL 60201.
