ROSE CUCCI Obituary

ROSE M. CUCCI JERSEY CITY Rose M. Cucci, a lifelong resi-dent of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on Saturday, Febru-ary 18th, 2012. A graduate of Dickinson High School, she later completed courses in Business from the prestigious Spenser Business School of Jersey City, perfecting her secretarial skills in typing, shorthand and math-ematics. She retired from Western Electric in Kearny after a 40 year career as a secretary. Rose was a gifted artist. She de-signed and sewed her own clothes and for many of her family members & was an excel-lent cook and baker. She loved & appreciated music, especially Opera, and enjoyed Ballroom Dancing. An active woman in her leisure, she enjoyed Ice Skating, Tennis and Basketball. She only recently stopped her aerobic exercises. She loved her church, Holy Rosary, there she was a member of the Senior Citi-zens Group and was a former member of the Children of Mary, which nurtured her love of the Blessed Mother. She is prede-ceased by her parents Anthony & Mary (nee: Priore) Cucci. She is the beloved sister of A. Joseph Cucci, Anthony R. Cucci (former mayor of Jersey City), Anne M. Pollara & the late SSgt Prospero M. Cucci. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visi-tation will be held on Tuesday, February 21st & Wednesday, February 22nd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. both days. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, February 23rd at 9:30 a.m. from the Introcaso-Angelo Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. Interment will follow at Holy Name Ceme-tery, Jersey City. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Rosary Church towards the Stations of the Cross Lighting Project. Envelopes will be avail-able at the funeral home. To Tony and Anne and your family,

Kathy and I learned about Rose's death today. We will always remember her kindness and hospitality throughout the years. As we are now in Pennsylvania, we won't be able to attend the services, but will make a donation to the Stations of the Cross fund and will keep her in our prayers.
