Robert Daler Obituary
Of Delton, MI
Passed away at Borgess
Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI
on Saturday, November 19, 2011. He was born to Joseph C. and Virginia (Hohen) Daler in Ft. Wayne, IN on November 20, 1937. On April 4, 1974 he married the love of his life, Clothilde M. Grieve and they were happily married for
37 years. Robert "Bob" was preceded in death by his children, Jodi Daler, Sonia Combs, and Richard Grieve. He is survived by his wife, Clothilde "Cloe"; sisters, Carol Lothamer, Shirley (Pat) Daler, Judith (Mike) Grubb, and Kathy (Wenn) Knotek; and brother, Steven (Vivian) Daler; daughters, Jessica Elem, April (David) Stine, Cloe Mikwanda, Ginny Daler, and Robin
Daler; and sons, Sam (Melanie) Daler, Rodney Daler, and Joe Daler. He had 18 loving grandchildren. Bob was known in the Delton area for his business, Bob's Outboard Motors. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and helping others. In a continuation of his loving and giving spirit, he made
the decision to donate himself to Wayne State University to help further educational research. A memorial will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 1-4 PM at
9270 Jones Rd., Bellevue, MI 49021, a family residence, to celebrate his life.
