VIRGINIA ROSELLA HOFFMAN

Virginia Rosella Hoffman, age 86, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital East in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel, burial in Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service. Virginia was born in Pana, Illinois, on October 23, 1924, the only child of Fred Miller and Hazle (McClure) Miller. On October 25, 1944, she married Carl (Jack) Hoffman. Carl preceded her in death on March 8, 1999. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Richard. Surviving her are her children Gary (Sandy) Hoffman, Marjorie Hoffman, David Hoffman, and Michaela Hoffman; her grandchildren, Lisa Mountain, Rebecca (Stan) Warner, Sean Hoffman, Peter (Julie) Kelley, Monica Byrnes, Angela Cunningham, Blaine (Deanna) Egleston, Erin (Bryan) Quaid, and Noah Egleston, and her great-grandchildren, Ashley Mountain, Tanner Mountain, Allyson Warner, Katelyn Warner, James Kelley, Michael Kelley, Matthew Kelley, Hunter Cunningham, Anastasia Cunningham, Isabel Cunningham, Ethan Egleston, and Dustin Egleston.
