I was sad to discover that Rozelle has passed away. She was such a kind and wonderful lady. I have so many fond childhood memories of her, not only from her show, but also personally. Since she and my mother both had shows on WRBL, I was around her a tremendous amount and grew close to her and her family. She was a bit like another granmother to me and I loved her dearly!

Rozelle was a class act and world is a better place by her having been in it! She will forever be remembered!

I just googled Rozell and found out she died almost 4 years ago. I'm so sad to realize she is gone, but I remember fondly watching her show in the 1960s. I was just a little girl. The big thrill she gave me was when she had my dance class from Fairfax, Alabama, as guests on her show. We tapped danced, if I remember correctly. Our teacher was Anne Murphy from West Point, Georgia. I have never forgotten that experience; so thank you to The Rozell Show.

I was once a guest on the Rozel show. Mrs. Fabiani was always a wonderful host who made her guest feel comfortable, as if they were at home with her. Though I moved away from Columbus in 1980, I will always have found memories of her and her show.

I am deeply saddened today at the discovery of the passing of Rozell. As a child I lived just down the street from her and would see her on almost daily when I was with her granddaughter Teal. She was always the nicest person and she made you happy to be around. My condolences to the Fabiani Family.

I have fond memories of when I was a little boy in the mid-70's! We were staying with my great aunt and uncle on their farm in Lafayette, AL while having our new house built in Dadeville, AL. We would watch the Rozell Show every morning while the smell of fresh sausage and eggs cooking filled the air. I later on sang on her show as a part of the "Lyman Ward Military Academy Choir". What wonderful times and what a wonder ful lady. No doubt she is entertaining the angels in heaven.

Rozell was one of the first people I met at WRBL when I arrived, just out of college in 1978, to begin my first TV news job. She was a pioneer and had a great sense of what television should do to serve a community. I have film clips of Rozell, Ridley Bell and George Gingell from the early 1950's that I will always treasure.

I was a guest on the Rozelle show way back in 1965. I was 6 years old at the time and had just won a local art contest. She had me draw my favorite thing- dinosaurs- with the cameras rolling. My family moved away that summer but I will never forget her or that wonderful experience.

Rozell was a wonderful woman who made her mark in the world. At the age of 4 I had my big modeling break thanks to her- she had me on her show to model mcKids clothing for McDonalds. She was great friends with my grandparents Art and Dae Lane. They had a long history together. Rozell, you will be greatly missed.

What a loss the city has experienced with the passing of such a classy lady as Rozell.Although I did not know her personally I did talk to her on the phone after her show ended she was so sad and hurt I wish she could have stayed on. I watched her for many years and I considered her "family".Heaven is a much brighter place because of her.And though I didn't ever seem to get the chance to "meet her at the Edgewood Church of Christ come 11 o' clock Sunday" as she said so many times I will meet her in heaven one day. Thanks for the memories

Rozell was a wonderful, genuine person, and I enjoyed working with her many years ago. She was the source of endless information, and knew just where to find any solution to my latest domestic disaster. She was also a kind and generous person, quick to give whether she knew the recipient or not. I was blessed to know her, and imagine that heaven is a bit brighter now that she is there.

My sincere thoughts and prayers to the Fabiani family. Rozelle was truly a remarkable lady and a role model/mentor for women in television communications. She was a tremendous ambassador of goodwill for the Columbus area. I am grateful for the wealth of learning and experience I gained; doing cooking demonstrations on her show as an Extension Agent."The Good Lord willing", we'll all meet "on the street where she now lives"!

As a child growing up in Columbus I always enjoyed watching Rozell on TV. She was a classy lady. I always wanted to meet her and finally got my chance in 1975 on her show when they had "The Stand Up For Young Americans" tribute. That is a day I will never forget. Even though I don't live in Columbus now I will always have very fond memories & Rozell will always be apart of those memories. My prayers go out to her family in this time of loss & I pray that they find comfort in knowing that she is now watching over all of us.

I had the honor of working with Rozell as part of her production crew at WXTX and at TV-16. She was an amazing person with a thousand interesting stories to tell. Last Friday night, I baked a sweet potato pie using her recipe, took it to a dinner party, and told my own stories of Rozell. I learned the next morning she had passed away. Thank you Rozell, for all the laughs, and the best sweet potato pie recipe EVER. You will be truly missed.

To the family and friends of Rozell, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I have fond memories of watching the Rozell show in the mornings growing up while getting ready for school while living in Columbus. I also remember one of my 11th grade classes when I lived in Harris County and attended Harris County High watching the Rozell show one day when one of our classmates appeared on her show. By that time, the Rozell show had moved to the noon hour. Several years later, she shopped in the Lewis Jones Grocery Store on Macon Road where I worked until the last time I moved away from Columbus. I would often say hi to her and once remembered bagging her groceries and carrying them to her car. I always enjoyed seeing her do commercials as well. I would say the my hometown of Columbus has lost a legend. Rozell, you will be greatly missed.

In television, we like to think of the competition as the bad guys. Rozell was anything but. Gracious lady is a perfect description for such a sweet human being. She will be fondly remembered as part of the old guard at WRBL. I'm sure she's already struck up a conversation with Ridley Bell and Jim Woodruff. We extend our prayers to the Fabiani and Fair families.

Dear Don----On February 25, 2005, I wrote your Mom with reference to Gracious Ladies of Georgia, of which Lois was a charter member:

"Rozell is just a girl grown tall. Hearts don't change much, after all!" I continued, "You are a precious personality, and you are a legend within your own time." My conclusion was---You are the best, always were the best, and will be the best always. Don, she certainly was, and we loved her. With deepest sympathy,
