Mr. Weatherford always had a smile and a kind word. Even years after I graduated with Donna, each time I ran into him, he was always so nice. He always said he remembered me. He probably did! He was that kind of person. Prayers are definitely with the family and friends who will miss him so much. The world has experienced a great loss in this man. I'm sure he'll keep everyone who has gone on ahead of him happy as well as those to come. A much loved man by all!

Darlene  and family,
We are very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We attended church together many years ago. Whenever we ran into him through the years, Jim always had a big hug for us, (usually at the Phenix City Publix).
Jim was a man of class, compassion, integrity and a true example of what a Christian should be. He will be sorely missed.

Mr. Weatherford was just a delightful individual to be around. Enjoyed having him on occasion join our Auburn tailgate as well as seeing him at Glenwood sporting events on occasion. He will be missed, but I know that he is enjoying heaven and the heavenly reunion with Jimmy. Blessings, Charles, Lenita and KeLeigh Edwards

Mr. Weatherford was absolutely one of my favorite people! He always had a warm hug, big smile, encouraging words, and lots of stories to share about his kids & grandkids! He recognized the important things in life and he always made you feel special! I remember when I attended the funeral for his son and my friend, Jimmy, he took me around & introduced me to everyone there! In his time of extreme grief he was making sure I felt at home and welcomed! We have lost one of God's best here on Earth...while Heaven has gained a new angel! My prayers are with his precious family. I love all the Weatherford Family dearly! May you feel the sweet arms of Jesus embracing all of you during these difficult days!
