Found myself thinking of you today and missing you so much. How you loved to decorate for Halloween and we both would talk about ways to make it fun for the little ones around us. As I prepare for the up coming season of Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas and how we shared so many together I will hold those memories dear to me in my heart, I can´t believe 13 years has gone bye so fast. Miss you Lucy

Oh, Dearest Vickie... Where do I start and how do I find the words among the tears? I love you so much, and truly appreciate the time we lived with you and you took such good care of my son, and then my daughter right before we moved. I can never forget you. I thank you for helping me to be a better person. I thank you for your kindness and wisdom and for raising my husband with those virtues.

You were amazing, and now that you have passed into the next stage in life, we will miss the light you brought to so many people. We miss you dearly, Vickie. We just want to continue honoring you and keeping your legacy alive through your grandchildren who love their Yia Yia so much, and through your loving husband, George.
We will always remember you.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Vickie through my best friend and her daughter-in-law, Roberta. I was always excited for an opportunity to see Vickie. She had an infectious smile and always made others feel good about themselves. As a young mom with two baby boys, life is very joyful and challenging, but after seeing and talking with Vickie, I always felt motivated, uplifted and encouraged.

I'm learning that our time on Earth is a small moment. I hope I can be like Vickie and have a positive impact on others, like she did. She never forgot birthdays. She was generous, beautiful, kind, loving, thoughtful, and taught me something new each time I saw her.

Vickie's passing has made me more thankful for my family. It has motivated me to make someone else's burden lighter today, to leave those within my presence feeling better about themselves, because that's what she did for me.

Vickie and George have a beautiful legacy through their children and grandchildren, of whom she is so proud. To them, and to all who love and miss Vickie, my thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with you. May you feel Vickie's love lift your burdens of sadness at this difficult time.

I met Vickie briefly at Roberta and Jerry's wedding, but we have always heard of her kindness and angel-like qualities from Roberta, Jerry and my parents. I have been personally touched by Vickie's generous qualities as well as George's. All my thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends who must miss Vickie so much, especially for George. Please accept our deepest condolences. With love, Maria Babin (Roberta's sister)

For Thirty years, Vicky and I have been best friends; we were a pair and called ourselves Lucy & Ethel. Always there to pull the other out of whatever mess we got into. Both married to Greek men, two boys that we loved to share our times with watching each of our kids grow. She was more than a friend she was family. I watched her raised her children, witnessed her boys become men, find wives and start families of their own. I know the joy her family brought to her. How much she cherished the time she was allowed to spend with them. It there is a single regret it would be that she would not be able to see all her grandbabies grow, grow into the fine human beings that I know they will become. I know how proud she was of the family she was a part of and helped raise. I know she will continue to watch over us all and keep that warm smile of hers with thoughts of us in her heart as we will keep her in ours. I will be proud on the day when I see my friend again , to tell her all the stories that are still to come of her family, her husband, her children and grandbabies and how they carried her spirit with them throughout their lives. On that day when I go to her new home she will her me say as I have so many years (Lucy I’m home!)

•God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

May George and the boys find peace and comfort in their memories of this wonderful and loving wife, mother, yia yia and friend. She will be dearly missed.
