Marilyn Walters Obituary

Marilyn E. Walters Jackson Marilyn E. Walters, age 75 of Jackson, formerly of Parma, Grand Ledge, and Lansing. Passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Countryside Care Center under the loving care of Allegiance Hospice. Marilyn was a graduate of J.W. Sexton High School Class of 1953. She was the daughter of James and Vera Smith, born February 10, 1935 in Lansing, MI. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bob; her children, Sue Lawson, Sandy (Bob) Napieralski, Steven (Ann) Slocum, Sheryl (Darrell) Durham, Pamela (Chuck) Martin; stepchildren, Amy, Scott, Penny and Tim; 20 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Norma Campbell, Myrna Campbell, and Janet Buck. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Don, Ron, Royce, and Larry Smith. Her family was everything to her. A celebration of her life will be held at J.L. Watson Parma Chapel, Wednesday, October 27, at 11:00 a.m., Reverend Dr. Brad Smith officiating; interment Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for those who wish may be made to Allegiance Hospice, One Jackson Square, 4th Floor, Jackson, Michigan 49201. Visitation Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. J. L. Watson Parma Chapel, 421 East Michigan Avenue, Locally Owned
