Today marks the 11th year of my mom's death. Personally, this has been harder than the tenth, ninth, or any below it. Time has gone on but my family still struggles every day, and me and my brother still miss her every day. I hope she's as proud of us as I am to know how hard it is to push through every day, especially this one. we still do it though. I miss you mom<3 and I'm glad your still in our memories. I hope you're resting well. Your daughter and son and husband will always love you.

People say that as time passes the pain lessens some, but for me it hasn't. Its a constant feeling of missing a part of myself, an ache that never goes away, a broken heart that will never heal! I will never find another friend quite like you... I miss your hugs, I miss you so much!! *'Round here she's always on my mind!*

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rick and Michelle's entire family as you go through these incredibly difficult days. One cannot look at a picture of Michelle without smiling because she was such a beautiful and happy person. Over time we pray the wonderful memories of happy times crowd out the current pain of your loss.

I met Shelly her first day of first grade at Elliott Elementary School in Holt. From that day forward we were the best of friends. All of my chilhood memories involve Shelly, everything from slumber parties, watching Grease for the first time, walking down the yellow brick road behind her grandparents house w/her grandpa, riding her Uncle David's skateboard on our bellies down the hill, dancing to Michael Jackson's new Thriller album in her bedroom, to late night rehersals for recitals, but most of all, proud to be two of the original members of In-Motion dance company at Karyn's Dance Place in Holt. I will miss her, her smile, and her ablity to make others smile and laugh in time of need. My heart goes out to all her family! Thanks Shelly for all the childhood memories. I wouldn't change them for the world! I love you!

The very first time I met Shelly was when we were riding the school bus home the first day of school after she moved to Haslett. I saw her reach into her pocket and take out a handful of change. She stood up and said "it's my religion to give a penny to each of my new friends". She went around handing out pennies until they were gone; I didn't get one, instead she came over to me, handed me a dime and said "I'm giving you a dime because you're going to be my special friend". I'm going to miss my very special friend every day! My heart goes out to Rick and the kids, Paula and Tim, Margaret and Richard, Jessie, Kristina, TJ and Jeff. Rest in peace Shelly- Michelle- Shosh Partridge. Gone but NEVER forgotten. I love you!

I was able to attend Michelle's funeral yesterday and support a close friend say goodbye to his sister. I lost my daughter 2 years ago, and my son who came with me to the funeral lost his sister. This is a very difficult time for the survivors of such a tragedy. From my experience time does not heal the wounds, it just allows you to develop tools to deal with the loss better. If Michelle is anything like T.J. the world is at a GREAT LOSS. My thoughts and prayers are with T.J. and his family.

kira ihrcke taylor- i am at a loss for words. i can muster deep gratitude for Shelly. She is part of me. much of who i am is because of Shell. Her laughter will echo in my mind forever. She will never leave our hearts and minds-ever. As trite as it sound, Shelly was happy through and through. She exuded happiness and was surrounded by pure love. I am deeply sorry Paula, Rick, Tristen, Rikell and the rest of the family and i love you.

One of my dearest memories of Shelly was the slumber party she had when we were in elementary school - I think we were in 3rd grade. My mom made me wear smurfette overalls and I was mortified. When I got to Shelly's house, she made me feel so good and even offered any outfit in her closet. Shelly was such a great, great gal - I'll always remember her fantastic sense of humor as well as her incredibly kind heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her family - she will be dearly missed.

I went to high school with Shelly and I remember her very fondly. She was a breath of fresh air. Always full of energy. She loved dance and I loved learning dance from her. I hope her children will know how special she was. She was much too young to be taken from them. God bless you Shelly! We were all so lucky to know you.

Our first thoughts of Shelly are her sweet smile and her love of life. Though her struggles were many, she had the ability to look ahead. God walked with her to find the happiness she had searched for. What a Blessing! May we all remember her and keep her close to our hearts. Bobbie and Al Gasch
