Raymond Smith Obituary

Raymond K. Smith Holt Raymond K. Smith passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the age of 76. Surviving are his brothers, Gerald (Sharon) Smith and Donald Smith; sister, Joana Batten; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. Raymond was retired from Builders Redi Mix and was the former owner of Cedarway Gulf Station. He served in the military during peacetime and was a volunteer firefighter. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with the Rev. Edgar L. Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, and 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.

Raymond was very special to a lot of people at Builders' Redi-Mix over the years including me. I have a lot of wonderful memories of him. He will be missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
