Ernie ~

You knew that my mother loved you very so much. I needed to share with you that it broke her heart not to be able to be with you as she continues to struggle with her ongoing issues in the hospital. I know deep down in my soul that you knew it but, for her sake and our family, I needed to express this personally.
One of my favorite verses below helps me cope during these emotionally heart wrenching times... Love you ~ Sandy, Sam & Millie

Empty your mind of all thoughts.
Let your heart be at peace.
Watch the turmoil of beings,
but contemplate their return.

Each separate being in the universe
returns to the common source.
Returning to the source is serenity.

If you don't realize the source,
you stumble in confusion and sorrow.
When you realize where you come from,
you naturally become tolerant,
disinterested, amused,
kindhearted as a grandmother,
dignified as a king.
Immersed in the wonder of the God,
you can deal with whatever life brings you,
and when death comes, you are ready.

Ernie my family will always love and miss you. We all had many, many great times together in the past 15 years. We thank you for all the joy you brought to our lives and most of all the fun times. Ernie I, Patricia, will never forget our dance together a few weeks ago. Our family knows you are now dancing in heaven. God Bless you! Freddie and I will be here to support your wife Barb and family as you know we love her, Sandy and Sambo.
