RUSSELL - Daniel R. Plumadore, 54, of 270 Dickinson Hill Road, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Elizabeth-town, New York, son of the late Donald and Mary (Bernard) Plumadore, he lived in Springfield, moving to Russell in 1996. Daniel worked for the City of Westfield, retiring in 2004. Previously he worked as a roofer for thirty years for area roofing companies. He was in the 101st airborne division of the Army in the Vietnam War where he received the Bronze star. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. He leaves his wife, Antonina (Scuderi) Plumadore; two sons, Joseph D. Plumadore, & Daniel A. Plumadore; a daughter, Marie O. Plumadore, all of Russell; two brothers, James Plumadore, & David Plumadore; a sister, Constance LaMountain, all of Springfield; and several nephews and nieces. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Richard and Ronald Plumadore, and a sister, Corinne Wright. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main Street, with a Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
