Michael R. Kennedy 1960 - 2013 HOLYOKE - Michael R. Kennedy, 52 of Holyoke passed away April 28th 2013. Born in Springfield, MA he lived in Valdosta GA and Southwick, MA before settling in Holyoke. He was a gifted mechanic and proudly served 4 years as a submariner in the United States Navy. He will be greatly missed by his parents George Raymond and Lauralene Kennedy, his sister Cheryle, his brother Patrick and wife Beverly and his nieces and nephews Kirstie Bamke, Michael Romero, Cody Drew Brock and Tait Kennedy as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Jeffrey John Kennedy. Services will be private and at the discretion of the family. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

He was a good hearted man...now my sister and him are together again. Our family knows the pain of losing a loved one unexpectedly. Our prayers are with all of your family. I know he made my sister Sheila very happy and I am glad he was there for her. In the time they were together she was the happiest I had seen her in a long time.
