Scott Burkett Obituary
Scott Mathew Burkett, age 19, passed away on January 17, 2011. Scott was preceded in death by his grandfather Frank Fettig. He is survived by his loving parents Kirk and Pam Burkett, sister Brittany Burkett and his dedicated girlfriend, Vanessa Hughes. Friends and family are invited to a Visitation on Friday, January 21st at Darling Fischer-Chapel of the Hills in Los Gatos at 6:00 pm. Vigil at 7:00. Funeral Service on Saturday, January 22nd at 12:30 pm at St. Christopher?s Catholic Church in San Jose. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Reception to follow at family residence.

Buzzy - you can't imagine how much I miss you. My heart is broken without you, you were and are my heart. I know how much love we have for each other and it will live on forever. The worst part is I long to hear your voice and touch you skin. I wait for the day I will be with you again. Hey buddy, I came across an old AP US history project we did together our jr yr. And dam bro although it was a college course we somehow found a way to incorporate spongebob haha well I jus wanted ta let you know I still think of all the crazy times we used to have. Those boring weekends where we would go out and jus mess around. We sure egged a lot of people during our reign haha. Whenever i see a red jeep or a white acura it jus brings back loads of memories. There was never a dull moment when i was around you.. We all miss you and love you a lot. RIP Buddy

Rest In Peace Scott. Since 5th grade at Reed Elementary School until 12th grade at Pioneer, I have always known you as the coolest kid around. Everyone wanted to be you, and that's a fact. I send my condolences to your family. R.I.P. friend.

We'll always remember fondly when Scott knocked Wilson's teeth out playing basketball...It's among the many funny memories we have of a fun, great kid. Though we have a lot of tears right now, Scott will always be remembered with a smile in our family. =)
