I will never forget Emily. I knew her for only a short time but her kindness to me will never be forgotten. She made me feel apart of something special and always made you feel like you were important. Contagious laugh, beautiful soul, unforgettable friend. I wish I had known her longer and could tell her how much she changed my life only in that summer. I miss you, Emily.

I was so overcome with emotion hearing about Emily's passing.....My daughter Alexandra went to elementary school with Emily. I remember her well....And what a super family she had....As I was recently divorced I remember admiring their closeness......Emily was so bright.....A real sweet person (child then....)....I remember you Emily.....Alexandra and I both want to offer our condolences to Emily's family......A loss of unmeasurable proportion

As our rabbis teach us, "The memory of a good person is a blessing." May the Source of comfort send comfort to all who mourn Emily, of blessed memory.

Emily was in one of my classes, a very small one so we all got to know each other pretty well. Her absence meant the class was never the same, and her death means the university will never be the same either. Rest in peace Emily, we will all miss you so much <3

benny my girl. everything good to say about you has been said so i'll say this: girl you were HILARIOUS, such a goofball but man i love you. every time i think of you now you're always smiling and laughing. you had this infectious personality that made people gravitate towards you - including myself. il always remember doing your hair for prom, and regret not having that sleepover we said we'd have after i left for college. thanks for all the laughs em, my heart is aching but i'll carry you with me always.

I knew Emily when I was younger because we used to play soccer together. I remember her vibrant soul and personality. She always knew how to laugh and how to make others join in. Even though I hadn't talked to her in awhile, I remember this one time that she saw me biking and stopped to say hi. I would never have had the courage to do what she did because I honestly didn't think she remembered me. Even though I didn't know her that well, I knew that she was a really nice person. I hope she is resting in peace right now. She deserves it.

Many students at Kehillah Jewish High School in Palo Alto knew you and your sisters. When they found out yesterday about your untimely death the news hit hard. You were a wonderful, gifted, daughter/athlete/friend. You will def be missed. Please give your family strength to get through this difficult time.

Emily - your presence in this world was a blessing for all of us.

The heart breaks,
The foundation shakes,
The soul aches.

But the heart heals,
The foundation steels,
And the soul lives on.
