Joe was a blessed friend and brother (in the Lord) with whom I used to hang out with (at times) while at Calvary Community Church (in the late 1970's). I remember his great love for the Lord (he mentioned about getting saved during the watching of the movie "Ben Hur") and being really good at tennis. He also had a very infectious smile and laugh but when it came to the things of the Lord he was very serious about it (since he had a very serious and genuine faith). He was a blessed brother and I look forward to seeing him again some day in glory!!

Joe was best man at my wedding and a great friend. We would faithfully get together 1X month and go for dinner, then chess which he'd always beat me at.
Joe loved God and loved to worship Him. He became a Christian after watching "Ben Hur" by himself.
It's hard to believe you're gone Joe, but I know I'll see you again in Jesus' presence.

Worked with Joe in the tech ministry at Home Church. A wonderful saint who loved serving and worshiping the Lord...

Joe has been missed while he was out sick, and will be missed now that he has gone to be with God. I will always remember how good he was at making sure our music was just right on the screen at Home Church. And mostly, how blessed I would feel as he raised his hands high in worship as we were singing the worship songs. He was a great worship leader to me whether he was in the back at the tech booth or sitting in the sanctuary. Enjoy Heaven Joe. We miss you here.

I first met Joe when we worked together in the 1 year-old's class in the early '80s. The children loved Joe and I remember him just giggling as he held each one. Pure joy! He was a great example to my own sons and we will miss him greatly.

A life well-lived with humility and love...he was a big brother in my youth group in the 1970s.

It was my great privilege to know Joe and spend time with him in the 1970's at Calvary Community. He has such a kind and tender heart and everyone loved Joe. My condolence to all his family and other friends.

My husband and I met Joe at a Calvary Community Bible Study. His joy and faith were infectious to all who came into contact with him. We only regret that we lost touch. Gratefully we will one day be united with our precious brother. Our deepest condolences for the loss of your son. Sincerely, Rick and Rebecca DeFiglio

Joe was a good and faithful brother in Christ. The joy he had for life lifted me up. I'm thankful for Joe and have a firm hope in seeing him again in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
