Armenia Daniell Obituary

DANIELL Armenia Irene "Mickey" Daniell, born January 19, 1959, a native and life long resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on September 1, 2010. Mickey was a strong believer in giving back to her community and epitomized the meaning of volunteerism. Her days were spent assisting charitable organizations such as The Salvation Army, Catholic Social Services and the Drug Education Council. She was well known for her role as an advocate for homeless women. Mickey was recently honored with the Spirit of Recovery Award given by the Alabama Voices of Recovery, MACADD and the Drug Education Council for her true commitment and devotion to the Spirit of Recovery. She was preceded in death by her father, Battiste Anthony Cazalas. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Jina, a son Louis Lopes Jr., mother, Katherine Vrocher, two brothers, Frederick and Anthony B. Cazalas, sister Evonne Cazalas, four grandchildren that she loved dearly, and one very extraordinary and exceptional friend, Frederick Morton, along with a multitude of friends from all walks of life. A Memorial Service officiated by the Reverend Charles Fail will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010, 2:00 p.m., St. Frances Street Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to a charity of your choice.
