HOPKINS, Kenneth A., Sr. US Army 1st Sgt. Ret. 57, a resident of Titus, Al., passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Graveside service with full military honors will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11am from The Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL., with Chaplain Douglas D. Gibson officiating., Ellison Funeral Home directing. Mr. Hopkins is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years Linda Ann Schultz Hopkins, Titus, Al., three sons Kenneth A. Hopkins, Jr., Wassilla, AK, Kevin A. (Melissa) Hopkins, Titus, AL., Keith A. Hopkins, Titus, AL., one daughter Mylissa (Seth) Smith, Cameron, N.C., three brothers Charlie Hopkins, Prattville, AL., Mike (Roxanne) Hopkins, Enterprise, AL., Al Hopkins, Memphis, TN., five sisters Lona Goodman, Prattville, AL., Georgetta Pynes, Titus, AL., Andrea (Tom) Arant, Titus, AL., Carol Wright, Prattville, AL., Shannon Hopkins, Prattville, AL., ten grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Baptist Hospice. Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm at The Ellison Funeral Home.
