MILLIRON, MR. GORDON LEROY (Husband of Evelyn) Muskegon Mr. Gordon L. Milliron, age 87, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Gordon was born January 25, 1925 to Frank and Edna (Wilbur) Milliron in Copemish, MI. Gordon had worked at Continental Motors for 41 years, retiring in 1987 and was a member of Local 113. Gordon enjoyed hunting and fishing and also just traveling through the woods. After retirement he helped his family and friends with their building projects. He kept very busy. His quote was that he "would rather wear out than rust out" and he certainly achieved that. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Evelyn; daughters, Kathleen Sue (Gary) Clifford and Barbara Jean (Randy) Dake, all of Muskegon; daughter-in-law and wife of the late Carl Milliron, Theresa Milliron of Whitehall; sons, Dennis (Toni) of Muskegon, Rex (Diane) of Byron Center, David (Lorraine) of Ravenna, Loyd, Jerry and Wayne (Betty) all of Muskegon; sister, Ruth Harris of Allegan; brother, George (Laura) Milliron of Nessen City, MI; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two sons and two grandsons. I remember him and his sons when we played baseball in the Jol-Dan-Gus League by the old Gospel films. What a wonderful time.... He was a wonderful mentor. I have a All star pic of Coach Milliron and team. God bless his soul and your family!!!
