Dear Alice,

Apple of His Eyes. You have the Apple of God's eyes.

Lover of God & Loved by God

Intercessor - I know you often interceded for your family. Just like how the Son prayed that the Father’s Love would be in us.

Cared & Comforted for her friends just like how the Heavenly Father Cared & Comforted you.

Enjoyed by God all the time, at her highest and even at her weakest point. Alice is beautiful.

I miss you.

Your friend,
~T

Alice was always thinking of others, always wearing a smile, always praising God. She was a good friend, a wonderful bass player, a worshipful singer, and a light to all who knew her. I will miss her as will all her friends at Zarephath Christian Church. I am praying for all her family and friends. May you find peace in God's loving arms.

Dear Eugenia and the rest of Alice's Family,
I had known Alice relatively short. I was looking for a home church back then in the beginning of 2008 after moving in this area. When I was visiting Zarephath Church for the first time, I saw a woman worshiping in the altar vividly. I knew it right away that I was going to be friends with her. She was Alice and indeed, we were. Not long after I met her, we started hanging out eventhough I was no longer in the same church. We went out for concerts, movies, food, retreat, shopping, beach walking...or even a girl talk. I cherished every moment with her. Alice was very humble and genuine. I was impressed by her personalities. There were so many great qualities in Alice and I'd like to share 3 things with you:
1) Alice paid attention to small things while others cared less.
2) Alice was people oriented and loved being around people.
3) I don't know how much you know about this, it seemed Alice couldn't handle her passport well. There were a couple of moments when she was encountered by this: Alice forgot her passport when she was about to depart from Newark Airport (she was going back to Taiwan for her grandma) and other time she lost her passport in NYC. The incredible thing was she got her passport back on-time and never delayed any trips. My point here is no matter how she left us or any circumstances she struggled with, there is always someone else Greater backing her up so she can get to the 'final' destination on-time and safely.

Eugenia and family, I have so many unanswered questions but one thing that has given me a deeper level of comfort is Alice is free by her Heavenly Father. I will keep praying for you and the rest of your family during this difficult time. Grace and peace be yours in abundance - 2 Peter 1:2.

Alice, you were and still are beautiful, my beloved and bestest friend I have ever had. Although, you are not around anymore, I will always carry our friendship in my heart. Au revoir et repose en paix, Alice. We'll see each other again. I love you and I will miss you.

Dear Eugenia and Family,
The Alice we will remember was full of life and able to brighten up a room with her smile.
Alice was an angel with out wings. Now she has her wings.
She will be dearly missed until we meet her again.
May God give you the strength to deal with the storm you are surrounded by and may Him continue to be your focus when the sea is calm again.

Dear Drs. Hsien-Yo Cheng and Shu-Miaw Chaw, and Yuu-Ching (Eugenia): Your Yuu-Heng (Alice) was a very radiant and beautiful woman, and we at Zarephath Christian Church weep with you at this time of deep sorrow. Though your beautiful daughter is now safe with her Savior Jesus, God Himself is near to you now and is touched by your grief and sorrow. Tears are a language He understands. We will pray for His comfort for you all. The service last night was so beautiful and I loved seeing all the pictures of Alice from a little girl on. Your words, Eugenia, were so touching and eloquent. What a closeness you sisters shared. I want you to know that the Lord Himself is big enough and loving enough to hold you and to comfort you, and to contain all your tears, all your questions, all your emotions. Ask Him and He will come near to you. With much love and prayers, Karen

Even though I only new Alice for 2 short years, I was impressed by her beauty, brains, and her impact on everyone who came in contact with her. I refered to her as "Alice in Wonderland" because she brought out the best in everyone. Her smile, her singing, her enthusiasm for what ever she did and accomplished. G-d Bless Alice and I know you are now "The Angel" watching over your loved ones and friends. May you rest in peace.

Dear Family and Friends of Alice,

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Alice at a young age has accomplished a lot in her lifetime and was always a joy to be around. No words will be enough to ease and lighten up the pain for the loss of Alice. Alice may not be here with us now but knowing that she has joined our Almighty God is enough comfort for me to let her go to her eternal peace. I will light up a candle and say a prayer for you Alice to light up your path to God.

No words can express the sadness I feel at this loss. Her radiant face as she sang praises to the Lord is imbedded deeply in my mind, our trip to Israel that we shared together, both special memories that I will forever hold deeply in my heart.

Alice has a truly unique soul. The common expression, "She'll be sorely missed.", cannot even express a tiny bit of our memory of her. Alice will be on my mind, and I believe, on many others', too.
